ACAP

Cardiac Imaging that Works

The Bodyworks Scan is our unique method used in initial assessment and routine follow-up visits of our ACAP members. Early identification of conditions lets you and your doctor decide on how to best treat and limit disease.

In patients that already have a cardiovascular condition, ACAP goes beyond the required care year-round. ACAP is not a 1 or 2 day program.

If you have heart and vascular concerns, a family history of heart disease, or have already been diagnosed cardiac and vascular problems, you're an ideal member for our innovative  program.

Heart

 Areas of Assessment

Heart Function
We feel it is critical that you stay up-to-date on information regarding your heart function. We'll look at several factors vital to your heart health, including:

• Possible Prior Silent Heart Attacks
• Risk after a Heart Attack
• Stints and Bypass grafts after surgery

• Valve function
• Valves after surgery
 • Aortic (aorta) and Heart Size

Stroke Risk
We'll take a close look at the arteries that supply blood to the brain. Knowing about any plaque blockages may help you and your doctor make decisions about your treatment plan that can lower your cardiovascular risk.

Cardiac Liver Changes
We'll  be looking  at your liver, checking for changes due to circulation problems or metabolic problems. We monitor how cardiac problems might be affecting this organ.

Abdominal Aorta
Our Bodyworks Scan looks for an aortic aneurysm. This is a blood-vessel dilation that can lead to a life-threatening condition.

Peripheral Vascular Disease
Disease in the arteries of the legs can cause pain that is often confused with arthritis or sciatica. Leg pain can be due to lack of blood to the legs, or in some cases due to venous disease and varicose veins.
